This privacy policy explains how Street Manual ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use this website and purchase our digital products.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Purchase information — your name and email address when you buy a product, processed via our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
  • Email address — if you sign up for the Weekly Prompts newsletter, we store your email to send you that content.
  • Usage data — anonymous analytics data (pages visited, device type, country) to help us improve the site. No personal identifiers are collected.
  • Local storage — the site stores your Focus Log and theme preference in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver your purchased digital products via email.
  • To send the Weekly Prompts newsletter if you subscribed.
  • To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:

  • Payment processor — handles transactions securely. They act as Merchant of Record and manage payment data.
  • Email delivery — used to send purchase confirmations and newsletter issues.
  • Vercel — hosts this website. Standard server logs may be retained for a short period.

4. Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Anonymous analytics may use a lightweight, cookieless method that does not require consent under UK/EU law.

5. Your Rights (UK & EU)

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email.

6. Data Retention

We retain purchase records for up to 7 years for accounting purposes, as required by UK law. Newsletter subscriber data is held until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.
