Document it before it goes.

Visit a different British high street every month. Document what's there - the independent shops, the charity shops, the empty units, the pound shops, the market stalls.

How to shoot it: Go on a weekday when the street is working, not a dead Sunday. Shoot the signage, the handwritten closing-down notices, the gaps where a shop used to be, and the people who still use the place. A wide lens takes in the whole frontage, a tighter one isolates the telling detail. Date every set, because the value is in the record.

The output: A body of work with real historical value in twenty years.
